Artist's Description
My parents lived in the Florida Keys after my Dad retired and I would visit them when I could. They lived in the town of Marathon on Key Vaca. They built a new home next to the very charming Sombrero Beach which is next to Sister Key. Most of the beach has beautiful sand, but one section has jagged rocks which are composed of coral remnants. Beautiful though they may be, walking on them without thick soled shoes is impossible unless you want bloody feet. The water has the same lovely aquamarine color that you find in the Caribbean.
