Artist's Description
Beauty, grace, and tranquility can be seen and felt along the Manistee River in Northern Michigan. Of the many canoe and kayak livery centers my favorite is Wilderness Canoe, located just south of Traverse City along Route 37. I got this shot in September at the end of a busy tourist season. On this early autumn day their tiny pond had a rippled mirror surface that reflected their fiery red gazebo and a soft blue sky. Canoes of fuchsia and turquoise looked on.
