Artist's Description

Years ago I drove semi trucks and came to know how difficult it was to backup the metal monsters. So when, on my frequent Saturday morning trips to the local lumber yard I saw a semi tanker trailer that had obviously had a backing-up mishap, it grabbed my attention. The dented Squirt tanker sat idle in the parking lot for months before it was fixed which gave me time to wait for optimum lighting to photograph the found art piece. Unlike the driver, I thought it was beautiful, especially in how it would reflect cumulus clouds against a blue sky. To me it looked like a piece of sculpture that Salvador Dali could have crafted.
