Artist's Description
The Anza Borrego Desert state park lies in the Colorado desert region of San Diego county. I ventured through the park in March. It was a cool day with some of the desert having been dusted with snow. I thought this to be ironic in that the Anza Borrego Desert state park is the only park in the country which is closed down for part of the summer because of it’s dangerously hot weather. Some of the lovely desert succulents were just starting to bloom. I captured this image with my trusty Plaubel Makina on Gitzo tripod.
