This is a Photoshop composite of three of my photos to make an ekphrasis form of art- the photoart is inspiring a poem. The poem reads:
~the chrysalis of spring~
undulating mounds of snow and ice
with fissures arches and caves
give way to an ever lengthening day
before a golden sunset
the chrysalis of spring
begins to crumble
an intrepid tulip springs forth
poking
through a blanket of snow
