Description
Jutting out 3300 feet into Lake Michigan, Navy Pier was originally built for lake freighters and warehouses. It was soon found to be ideal for recreation. This two second long exposure was taken with view camera and ultra wide angle lens. Behind the lovely circa 1930 carousel can be seen the 150 foot high Ferris wheel which takes seven minutes to complete a single revolution.
