The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. While visiting my parents in Marathon Florida on Key Vaca I was fond of milling around the north side of town. It had many photographic possibilities including Whisky Creek Motors, City Fish Company, and craftsmen who made lobster traps. One Sunday morning I was using my handheld Nikon to photograph the nifty venue when I heard a motor bike approaching. I immediately knew I wanted to photograph it no matter what and so set the focus to about eight feet and wheeled around to begin panning the bike and driver and snapped the shot as he whizzed by me. The driver turned out to be an elderly African American gentleman who tipped his hat and said G’mornin'.
