Traverse City Michigan is world famous for its annual National Cherry Festival. In the Summer of 1982 I happened to be in the area during the cherry harvest and that year had a bumper crop! I was on my way to Mackinac Island and was stopping at every wunderland along the way and that of course included Traverse City. I came upon a beautiful cherry orchard which had dozens of migrant workers scurrying around gathering in the harvest. I stopped my car and approached the owner who generously gave me permission to photograph his orchard. This threefer is of my three favorites from that wonderful Summer day. Separately they are titled: Muchacha Bonita, Helper, and Amigos.
